a-ha will give a concert, as already known, in Moscow, Russia, on November the 09th. Now fans can look forward to a further date. Morten, Magne and Paul hold a concert in St. Petersburg at the Ice Palace two days later on November the 11th. A city that a-ha have visited several times in recent years.

Support act in New York
The Norwegian artist Sondre Lerche will go on tour with a-ha in New York.
“I’m excited to announce that I’ll be doing three special appearances opening for my childhood heroes A-ha when they play the Nokia Theater on Times Square in New York, the city where I live“, he wrote on his Homepage.
Already in 2002 he was the support act for a-ha in Ullevaal.

Morten, Magne and Paul will hold a concert in Kristiansand at the Sør Arena on September the 11th. This is the home of the Norwegian Tippeliga (highest football league) club Start. A very pleasant circumstance for the club. The directors of the club expect a profit of one million NOK (approx. $ 169.000). All incomes from the beer and food sale are for the club. Start also provides the security stuff.

Winner of a-ha's scholarship are chosen by the Norwegians
The Norwegian audience decide on the winner of a-ha's scholarship (a-ha-net reported). 30 Norwegian artist are on the list. They have the opportunity to win 1.000.000 NOK. But the list will be reduced to eight participants over the time. At the end two band will play against two other bands. The winner will be determined by the VG-Lista Topp 20 (like the UK Charts) and a SMS-Voting.
The jury, who narrow down the choice, includes well-known music stars:
Harald Wiik: a-ha's manager and representative of the band.
Kristian Riis: Member of the Danish band Nephew.
Øystein Ronander
Martin Terefe: Producer and member of Apparatjik
Markus Hartmann: A&R chief of Starwatch Records (Germany)
Marie Dimberg: Manager of Roxette.
Tone Lise Skagefoss: Juror at “Idol“
